The route takes in the best Alpine singletrails overlooking the Rhone Valley and its side valleys. And to avoid a few difficult climbs, you can use several lifts and public transport for maximum fun. The highlights of this multi-day mountain bike tour are the discovery of the Tièche valley, the panoramic crossing from Rinderhütte to Jeizinen, the Gibidum pass and its eponymous lake, as well as the splendid trails in the Lötschental and the Val d'Anniviers, surrounded by Alpine peaks.

From Crans-Montana, discover the Tièche valley, before descending through a pine forest to the village of Varen. A bus takes you to Leukerbad, from where you leave the next day for the Rinderhütte mountain station. Take the Torrenttrail Bike and ride through the villages of Erschmatt and Niedergampel to the plain. Cross the Rhone Valley and take the cable car from Raron to Unterbäch. The next day, take the Brandalp chairlift and cycle to the Moosalp Pass along part of the Moosalp Plateau Bike. Dive into the Mattertal and reach St. Niklaus on the Matterhorn Valley Trail, from where the post bus to Grächen awaits you. On the next day, enjoy a superb descent via the Mattsand Enduro route. Reach Stalden and take the cable car to the Gspon heights. Follow the Gspon Panorama Bike to the Gibidum Pass before plunging into the Nantzal valley to Brig. The next day, you reach the Lötschental by panorama train and then by bus. After a mountain bike ascent to Lauchernalp, continue uphill and then head down towards the village of Blatten (Lötschen) where this leg ends. For the second day in the Lötschental, from the top of the Lauchernalp cable car, follow the Bietschhorn Bike to Faldumalp, then through various villages to Sierre. Return to St-Luc by bus and finish your mountain bike tour by exploring the Val d'Anniviers. After a funicular ride up to Tignousa, follow the Chemin des Planètes, cross the Lâche forest, descend to Mottec and return to Zinal.
