POI details

This demanding tour first leads uphill from the village square to the entrance gate of the Suone Chilcheri. To do so, you cross the asphalt road leading to the lake twice until you follow the signs at the edge of the forest through the gate. The route leads you steeply uphill through the refreshing larch forest and over scree fields before the rather barren landscape leads to the Seetalhorn.

From Visp you take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the bus, which gets you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends a direct bus operates from Visp to Grächen.
