Hike along the King's Route and combine exercise with exciting games. On this varied tour, you will pass four play huts & a play station. The play huts are small wooden chalets with a table and board games. You can pick up your backpack with the necessary game pieces and game pass at the Tourist Office (for a deposit). Discover the small box with the stamp at the huts and stations to fill your game pass.

At the beautiful vantage points, you can enjoy the impressive view of the surrounding mountains while you bring your own picnic.

POI details

The challenging Königs-Route leads uphill from Hannigalp and carries your feet over gentle earthy and stony paths. The exciting route leads you via Chleini Furgge in the direction of Stafel. This is followed by stops at play huts up to Heidnische Tossu. From there, continue downhill to the Lowizig play hut and past viewpoints back to Hannigalp. This varied hike along the play trail with playhouses and play stations also offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain scenery. With a bit of luck, you may encounter wild animals.

From Visp take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the Post Bus which takes you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends, there is a direct bus service from Visp to Grächen. Find full timetable information at www.cff.ch
